Affiliate Disclosure

We believe in transparency on the web and so are disclosing that we have included certain products and links to those products on this site that we may earn an affiliate commission for any purchases/investments you make.

Our goal with the blog is to help educate and inform consumers about precious metals and cryptocurrencies, but please understand this as a for-profit business.

We only promote those products or services that we have investigated and truly feel deliver value to you. Examples would include the site banner ads, external links to other companies, or book, product, or company reviews.

Please note that prices are exactly the same for you if your purchase is through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link.

In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their new rules for Disclosure Compliance. These rules are set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media (blogs, Youtube videos, etc.) know if the blogger/presenter is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. In blog terms, the readers need to know if the blogger is making money by sharing a link or product.

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on this site: Any/all of the links https://goldandsilvercentral.com/ are affiliate links of which we receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.

What are affiliate links?

Purchases are made on external affiliate company websites: When a reader clicks on an affiliate link located on .com to purchase an item, the reader buys the item from the seller directly (not from https://goldandsilvercentral.com/) the companies pay Gold & Silver Central a small commission or other compensation for promoting their website or products through their affiliate program.

We use mainly one type of affiliate programs:

  • Product affiliate links.

Generally, if a website links to product (with a special code for affiliates embedded in the link), and a reader places an item in their “shopping cart” through that link within the cookie life period after clicking the link, the website owner get a small percentage of the sale. These links are not “pay per click.” If you click on the product link to invest, we will get commission on that sale.

The affiliate links with our recommended investment companies work the same way: if you click the link and buy the product, then we may get a percentage of the sale or some other type of compensation. Things like e-book bundles, e-courses, and online packages are usually affiliate links, as well.

Most of the larger exchanges, precious metals and crypto companies in the U.S. have affiliate programs and will pay website owners for referrals. We can choose to partner with almost all companies in the industry.

Since Gold & Silver Central has financial relationships with some of the investment companies mentioned on this website, we may be compensated if consumers choose to utilize the links located throughout the content on this site and generate sales for the said company. You are not obligated to click on any link or buy any products that are advertised.

Again, prices are not different if you use these affiliate links. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link. These links are not “pay per click”, unless otherwise denoted.

What about sponsored content?

We do not write sponsored posts. We want to bring you real, unbiased information. However, if a post is sponsored by a company and it is a paid sponsorship, we will disclose this clearly in the beginning of the post.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please do not hesitate to contact us by using the contact page. It can be accessed on the footer menu.
